During some of my time in prayer Monday morning, I stumbled upon a live prayer service that greatly blessed my soul. I am sure that you will experience the same. Not only did Pastor Micah Scott lead us into a powerful, rich, and relevant time in prayer, he provide a handout for meditation.

Selfishness runs counter to Godβs best for all. It only considers personal interests and personal benefits. It is the opposite of ministry. Those who are deceived by it are guilty of self-serving motives.
This is pride. Pride is deadly. It is one of the things that God hates. Thus, we must guard ourselves from this type of mindset and this type of love-less life.
Consequently, many with godly intentions too far in the wrong direction resisting evil. Many who have much to offer pull back to avoid the pitfalls of being self-serving.
HOWEVER, we must not focus so much on what we should NOT DO that it is able to harm or injure abounding in what we SHOULD DO. We should make what we have to GIVE a higher priority than what we want to RECEIVE. Letβs not make the SELF-serving actions of others cause us to put our ability to be WEALTH-serving on hold or under restrictions.Β
NOT GIVING robs generations of seed times and harvest times. Releasing our best to others is Godβs way to bless generations.
Romans 12:3 (KJV) For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think [of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
The beginning of the verse focuses on THE GRACE GIVEN. This should be promoted and driving us. GRACE is GIVEN by God because it comes from God. Thinking soberly rather than βhighlyβ is acknowledging that whatever good we have to give comes from our Heavenly Father. This is the love factor at work.
The MEASURE OF FAITH given should propel us to NOT hold back on being people who are WEALTH SERVING. Let the body of Christ experience Godβs best in you from you.
Acknowledge the Good Things which are in you because you are in Christ. Donβt put your light under restrictive things that blocks, hinders, and diminishes your light. Let your light shine before men that they may see your GOOD WORKS and glorify our Heavenly Father.Β
Pastor Timothy T. Scott, Jr.
